What is the validity period for the FSSAI/FOOD License ?The FSSAI/FOOD License is valid for the period from 1 to 5 years. Hereafter, the particular FBO needs to apply for FSSAI License renewal.

Can I transfer my FSSAI/FOOD License to someone else?In case of the death of the FSSAI/FOOD License holder, the FSSAI License can be shifted to the legal representative or any family member of the dead holder. The legal representative or the family member needs to apply to the concerned Authority to shift the license in his/her name.

What will happen if forget to renew my FSSAI /FOOD License?In case of forgetting to make a renewal of a food license, you have to pay a penalty of Rs. 100 per day within the specified validity time. Following that, your existing food license can be cancelled and need to apply for a fresh license.
